Wheel centre is a part of the wheel set, on which the bandage and the gear wheel are fixed. The wheel centre is subjected to forces from the seating of the band, the gear wheel and the pressing of the wheelset axle; it also transmits vertical and horizontal forces to the longitudinal and transverse forces acting between the band, axle and gear wheel of the wheelset.
