Description

The operation of the primary converter of the flowmeter is based on the creation in the fluid flow of turbulent vortices formed behind the turbulator, the frequency of detachment of which is directly proportional to the velocity of the fluid. The flowmeters are designed to control sodium flow rate in pipelines of the second circuit and steam generators of power unit c of fast neutron reactor plant RU BN-800 and new generation power units RU BN-1200. The structural design of the flowmeter allows to make absolute flow measurements and to calibrate the flowmeter directly in the operating circuit (under operating conditions). .
