Functional Corrective Corset for Spinal Deformation - Tailored Support and Comfort

Functional-corrective corset for correction of deformation of the patient's spine. The corset is made of thermoplastic plastic by means of deep vacuum extraction according to an individual mould using an individual technological process, with a bearing sleeve of a complex asymmetrical shape. The plastic sleeve of the corset is made of low-pressure polyethylene (depending on the patient's weight and stiffness of the deformation) by vacuum moulding according to the plaster positive cast.

It is allowed to manufacture the corset from other polymeric materials approved for use (the type of materials used depends on the individual characteristics of the patient). The shape of the sleeve is determined in accordance with the variant of deformation, features of the patient's torso in the places of pressure and unloading cavities. The corset is manufactured on the basis of X-ray images of the patient's spine with further correction.

The internal geometric dimensions of the corset correspond to the configuration of the patient's torso.
