Modular Construction Fiber Optic Cable DPD-ng(A)-LSLTx for Reliable Connectivity

The cable contains a core of modular construction with a central power element made of a dielectric rod, around which optical modules with freely arranged fibres are twisted. The free space in the optical modules is filled with hydrophobic gel. The core is bound by winding filaments with vault-blocking property.

An intermediate sheath made of polyvinyl chloride is superimposed on the core. The intermediate sheath is spirally overlaid with armour made of fibreglass rods. Water-blocking threads are laid between the intermediate sheath and the armour.

The armour is covered with a sheath made of polymer composition not spreading combustion, with reduced smoke and gas emission, with low toxicity of combustion products.
