MV 3850/1150/460 Fan Mill Housing for Brown Coal Processing Assembly

From drawing 32.24.1474.08-0. Supplied in parts for on-site assembly. Purpose of the mill body: The mill body is used for grinding of brown coal.

The casing is a welded structure lined inside with armour. For repair and maintenance of the mill there are doors and inspection hatches in the casing. The tightness of the casing in the place of rotor connection from the side of the bearing block is ensured by a slotted seal and supply of sealing air.

The mill casing is fixed to the bearing block frame by means of pins and bolted connection. The casing is fixed to the foundation tabs with foundation bolts. In the bottom of the casing there is a chamber for catching foreign non-crushing objects, which get into the mill with coal.In the upper part of the casing there is a cover with armour for quick replacement of the angular armour package.

The angle armour is replaced by means of an electric hoist moving on a monorail fixed on the mill separator.
