Rail track tie is used to adjust the width of the rail track on wooden or reinforced concrete sleepers with rails R43, R50, R65, R75 during repair, as well as during the current maintenance of the railway track, including switches of all types, including crossing.
The tie device is used both during current maintenance and repair of the railway track for re-stitching with rails of all types for track gauge 1520 (1524) mm, and for expansion of sleepers on one side when widening or narrowing the track gauge.
The main task of the coupler is to hold the rail thread when the rail fastenings are removed, which ensures safe movement of rolling stock on the section where scheduled or unscheduled track repair works are carried out.
