Self-Drilling Screw Ø3.5 mm for Internal Orthopedic Fixation

A small non-sterile threaded rod with a slotted head used for internal orthopaedic fixation of fractures by screwing into the bone to hold plates or pins in the bone or to provide direct interfragmentary stabilisation of the bone, and attachment of soft tissue to the bone, for monocortical fixation. It is made of a material that does not chemically degrade or resorb as a result of the body's natural processes. The thread profile is self-drilling.

Thread completeness - full. Head - spherical. The slot is hexagonal (Allen).

Screw tip - tapered, pointed. There are taps on the tip of the screw for the removal of bone chips. This product should be sterilised before use.
