The absorbing apparatus T-8P is an apparatus of class P1 of GOST 32913-2014. It is designed to dissipate impact energy during shunting operations, to soften shocks and jerks and to reduce harmful dynamic effects on the car structure and passengers during train movement. Available in version T8P.00.00.000-02.

Integrated into coupling devices of motor-car rolling stock.
