Traction Coupling for Efficient Force Transmission in Rail Systems - Drawing 1167.00.001

One of the main parts of the coupling device of the rolling stock of the railways of 1520 (1524) mm gauge. The main purpose of the traction clamp is to transfer the traction force from the coupling (connected to the shank of the coupling by means of the wedge of the traction clamp) to the absorbing apparatus (to the rear support part), which is installed inside. Absorbing devices of different traction classes (T0, T1, T2, T3) can be installed in pair with this traction clamp. The traction clamp is cast from 20GL steel in accordance with GOST 22703-2012. The design provides holes for the wedge of the traction clamp and bolts supporting the wedge.
