- data networking based on packet switching, Layer 2 and Layer 3 Ethernet switch, Ethernet VLAN support (IEEE 802.1Q/P);
- ADASE signalling;
- unification of different "transport" directions on the basis of copper and optical communication lines within one unit;
cross-switching n*64 kbit/s (n = 1...1024) between 32 E1 streams and analogue or low-speed digital interfaces, packet switching between any interfaces;
- digital Ethernet BackPlane bus provides interconnection of all installed digital interfaces via SGMII junction (1000 Mbit/s) through the switch of the central board (up to 16 different directions at 1Gbit/s).
