Factor Hardware-Software Complex for Vehicle Speed Measurement and Control

The hardware-software complex "Factor" is designed for automatic remote measurement of vehicle speed in the control zone and on the controlled section of the road, the time of fixation of vehicles and their position. The complex is operated in fully automatic mode. The complex can measure the speed of vehicles in the control zone by radar method and video frames (optical method), and can also measure the average speed on the controlled road section by indirect method.

The time of vehicle fixation and geographical coordinates of the place of vehicle fixation are determined using GNSS signal. The complex detects and recognises vehicle registration plates and records traffic violations on linear sections and intersections of the road network. Data on traffic violations are transmitted to external information systems for issuing resolutions on imposing administrative fines.
