The wagon is designed for carriage of sheet steel in coils with diameter from 860 to 2400 mm, width from 750 to 1800 mm, weight from 5 to 30 tonnes. To transport steel in coils requiring protection from atmospheric precipitations, the wagon is made in the version with a shelter hood.
